Our Humanitarian Focus

At the Black Radish, we support groups and organizations that fall under the following causes:

Food: We support organizations that work towards ending hunger in the Fraser Valley. We are big supporters of local food security and work closely with a lot of local farms and people who share those goals and views. We are happy to support any organization that promotes local healthy food and educates children and adults about healthy eating options and local food security 

Children: We have two young children ourselves and fell very blessed to be able to give them everything they need. We want to help and support organizations that promote the quality of life for children and families that may be at a disadvantage.

Environment: We support local opportunities working towards preservation and protection of our environment. We strongly believe in supporting ocean clean up efforts and supporting ocean based recovery efforts. Internally we are focused on our green catering and sustainability practices

Types of Support

Project/Event Support: The Black Radish provides support for projects, fundraisers and charitable events through in-kind donations, table sponsorship and silent/live auction donations

Gift Certificates: The Black Radish provides donations of gift certificates towards future events. 

Deadlines:
To request a donation you must submit a letter of request at least 8 weeks prior to the event or project. Last minute donations will not be considered. Please allow 4 weeks for a notification
